Project Description
Fridge AI turns a photo of your refrigerator into personalized recipes with clear, step-by-step voice guidance. Users take or upload an image, the AI identifies the ingredients, finds or creates suitable recipes, and leads them through cooking with both text and spoken instructions.
The app is aimed at home cooks, students, busy people, and families who want to reduce food waste. It solves the common problem of deciding what to cook with limited ingredients and helps avoid spoilage. Key features include ingredient detection using Mistral AI multimodal models, similarity-based ingredient search with embeddings and Qdrant, recipe generation and adaptation via Mistral AI, voice guidance from 11Labs, favorites and history, dietary preferences, and manual confirmation of detected ingredients.
