Project Description
- Execution & Functionality
Our platform delivers an end to end job seeking experience powered by AI. Users can generate a professional CV instantly, refine it through a conversational assistant, and receive intelligent matching between their profile and active job listings. Recruiters gain direct access to well matched candidates. The product demonstrates a coherent workflow from onboarding to job matching.
- AI usage
AI is the core engine of the platform. It creates CVs, analyzes user backgrounds through chat, performs semantic job matching, and adapts results to each user’s preferences and constraints. The product goes beyond traditional job search by relying on AI to enhance quality and personalization at every step.
- Scalability for a One Person Model
The platform is built to scale with minimal human effort. Automated CV creation, AI based matching, and cloud powered search eliminate most operational overhead. Managed infrastructure allows a single founder to maintain and grow the product efficiently without a large team.
- Problem Clarity & Market Impact
Job seekers often struggle to create strong CVs, understand how their skills map to job requirements, and identify roles that truly fit their personal profile. Recruiters deal with large applicant volumes and limited insight into candidate relevance. Existing platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed focus on networking or keyword based search, leaving users to manually craft applications and filter hundreds of results. Our platform provides deeper personalization through AI generated CVs, context aware recommendations, and semantic matching that understands meaning rather than keywords. This creates clearer paths for candidates and more accurate selection for recruiters, addressing key gaps in a large and competitive hiring market.
- Demo & Product Narrative:
The demo follows a clear and intuitive journey. A user signs in, interacts with the AI assistant, and receives a fully generated CV. Their profile is evaluated automatically and matched opportunities are presented. These matches are shown on an interactive map enriched with company information. The user can contact recruiters directly and future updates will introduce automated application flows. The narrative demonstrates how AI supports the user throughout the entire experience.
- Partner Tech Usage:
- Lovable (used to build the frontend & backend)
- Gemini (used as a textual model to generate CVs and perform matching between CV and entreprises)
- ElevenLabs (used to make assistant responses in the audio format, so the user can listen to them instead of reading)
- Figma (to create a logo of the product on GitHub)
Prior Work
Before the hackathon, Adva Barukh was a solo founder working on my first project, Workoholic, and she had already developed an MVP with the agency Selego. This MVP is an aggregator of job opportunities displayed on an interactive map, and for the beta test she focused on the restaurant sector. The platform generated strong traction, with over 12,000 CVs sent through the system in just a few months. You can see the MVP here: www.workoholic.fr
For the hackathon, out team wanted to take this foundation further and build a more advanced version of the product. This is how Workly was created. Workly is based on the same core idea as Workoholic but introduces several new features developed during the hackathon, such as CV generation, a ChatGPT-style chat assistant, and more advanced AI-powered matching on the interactive map.
In summary:
Created before the hackathon: Workoholic MVP (interactive map + job aggregation).
Created during the hackathon: Workly prototype (CV generation, AI chat, enhanced matching, updated design and UX).
