Project Concept
Echocare uses smart tech to let folks with disabilities control things by talking. It’s made for older adults who need extra support at home. This gadget helps handle daily chores without help from others. Yet it can call for aid if something goes wrong suddenly. Some rely on it when moving around feels tough. Others find it handy just to stay secure each day.
The gadget catches spoken orders while taking care of jobs - say, scheduling appointments, looking up stuff, adding alerts, or managing connected gadgets at home. Meanwhile, motion detectors inside keep scanning for weird motions or tumbles. When it spots a drop or medical crisis, EchoCare shoots off an urgent signal right away, using a phone app link to notify helpers or relatives.
The project came from a clear problem: folks with mobility challenges might not grab a phone fast when it matters. Just a short wait could lead to serious trouble. Thanks to EchoCare, getting support takes only a spoken word - or kicks in by itself if needed.
