Hey, I'm Roman! For the last 7+ years, I've been diving into data across consulting, product, and academic settings, with a recent focus on bringing LLMs and AI solutions to life. I love tackling tricky engineering problems and transforming complex data into something genuinely useful. I'm always excited to connect with fellow builders and see what new challenges we can solve.
I'm currently fascinated by the frontiers of multi-modality and complex agentic systems and would love to connect with others who are experimenting in this space. I'm particularly interested in finding collaborators who are pushing the envelope on fusing different data types, like text and graphs, to create more intelligent applications. I'm also keen to meet people tackling unique challenges in information retrieval and generative AI.
My current experiment is all about using RLHF techniques to see how effectively I can align a model's behavior for a specific, narrow domain. I'm building out my own preference datasets and reward models to steer the model towards a particular conversational style. It's a fascinating challenge in seeing just how much specialized performance you can squeeze out of a more compact and efficient model.
