Blending physical and cognitive cartographies to bring folks together across the world
Project Concept
Can leverage Mantis Collaborative Browsing, and a GatherTown clone, to blend Virtual Physical Landscapes and Mantis Cognitive Cartography Landscapes, where you can grow your own “farm” of ideas, books, movies, etc, and share them with your loved ones, and go to your ‘special places’ together each time you meet up, invite others, etc.
Possible underlying technologies:
Start with Mantis, and add ‘skins’ and ‘avatars’ for joint navigating.
Start with GatherTown Clone, and augment with cognitive maps of ideas
